Turn your shower into an aromatic spa with organic #bodywash. There are a million ways to make body wash and lots of scents and oils to use. You can do a ton of research and find so many options, but if you don't want to look any further, I present to you: EASY, ORGANIC, DIY BODY WASH.

Recipe:

A large pump bottle (I just reuse my old Alba Botanicals bottles)

2 cups water

1 1/2 cups castile soap

1 tbls oil (I use jojoba, you can use coconut, almond, apricot, etc.)

20 drops essential oils (optional)

ree

To Make And Use:

Mix the soap and the water in the pump bottle. Add in the oil and then drop in the essential oils, if using.

Which Essential Oil(s) Should I Use?

If you are using EO's, you can really have fun with this recipe because you can customize your scent! Be mindful that some EO's are not great for topical use and some are fantastic for skin. I like a citrus blend, myself. So I usually do equal parts orange and lemon, and then I add in lavender for a little soothing.

Some great EO's to use, for skin types:

For dry skin: lavender, frankincense, tea tree, chamomile

For oily skin: clary sage, rosemary, geranium

For acne: lemon, lemongrass, tea tree

To soothe skin: lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus

For anti-aging: rose, myrrh

Some great EO's to use, for scent:

Lavender, Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Rose
